I’m Polaris Thorn and I was expelled from Camp Kindred and sent to my death because I refused to join the slasher class of 1987 when they took out the final girl. Turns out, being an openly gay former latchkey kid who was raised by one of the first female slasher killers made me hard to kill.
That was three years ago. I’ve survived in the Pawnlands, a guarded enclosure for Kindred’s rejects, thanks to a generous supply of chewing gum and a wolf-faced stalker turned secret crush. My determination to map the Pawnlands led me to Bunny Benton, my best friend, and eventually on a quest to save Ignacious Bern, the son of Kindred’s most infamous slasher killer and the best chance we have at breaking free of our personal horror franchise.
But that quest is done, I’m alone again, and my wolfman is nowhere to be found.
I can return to my cabin in the woods, paint my murals, and continue to survive in the shadows. Or I can follow a new map to a cute guy with an adorable scowl and a lip ring that I kind of want to taste.
